Altcar and Hillhouse
Looking north west from Altcar and Hillhouse along the route to Southport Lord Street, now the Cheshire Lines trail for walking and cycling, on 14th August 2020. Just beyond the bridge the LSPJR, later L&YR, Downholland line diverged right. Beyond the site of Woodvale station the CLC trackbed now lies under the tarmac of the Southport coastal bypass.
