Newburn Junction
A redundant overgrown track can be seen running this side of the A178 coast road bridge on the south side of Hartlepool. This line formerly ran almost to Seaton Carew station, being a goods line into the once extensive siding complex to the now demolished Hartlepool Steelworks. It is still believed to be connected to the operational line at the north end, just before the level crossing south of the station.
