Brent Cross, LUL Northern Line, looking north towards Edgware on 26th August 2020. On the left is the formation of the former loop (with a similar one on the southbound side) which in early days allowed semi-fast trains to overtake here. These semi-fasts ceased around the time the LPTB was formed in 1933 and the tracks were removed. Highfield Avenue bridge immediately south of the station still demonstrates the wider line at this location but then narrows down to a two-track railway.
