A4 60019 'Bittern' sets off from Glasgow Buchanan St with the 8.25am 'Grampian' for Aberdeen on 18th May 1966. The rapid progress Glasgow made towards smokeless zone status in the 1960s experienced a bit of a setback on this sunny May morning.
