Morecambe South Junction
With the arrival of further Class 90s the Freightliner Class 86s are rare daylight sights in the North West of England so 86608, working light engine from Carlisle to Crewe Basford Hall, was a welcome surprise at Morecambe South Junction on 7th December 2020. This veteran emerged from Vulcan Foundry in July 1965 as E3180 so is now in its 56th year of main line service.
