Morpeth
Looking south on the A197 at Morpeth in July 2015. The dip in the road and grassy embankment cut back on the right should ring bells for enthusiasts. The NBR line to Scotsgap (see image 21165) used to cross the road here. Passenger services finished in 1952 and complete closure came in 1966.
