Shawlands
A wintry day at Shawlands station in February 1985 with a Glasgow Central to Newton (via Maxwell Park) service about to call. There was plenty of cover for passengers at that time under the generous station canopy and the building itself was still staffed for ticket sales. Subsequently, after de-staffing and demolition of the buildings, the station came to offer little more than a barren platform and a tiny shelter.
