Kenyon Junction
Kenyon Junction had four platforms and occupied a large site but it closed in 1961 and little remains. This February 2021 view shows part of the station site looking along the curving trackbed of the line from Leigh. The platforms and buildings, which would have been beyond the parked car, have all been cleared. The loop through Leigh to Patricroft finally closed in 1969.
