Great Ormesby
The former Great Ormesby station on 1st October 1977, a few weeks after the centenary of its opening. The elderly lady living there spotted me looking around for a vantage point and wasted no time in coming out to remind me it was private property. Happily, my girlfriend rescued the situation and we were invited in for tea. I ended up sat in an armchair under the ticket hatch, but had to wait very patiently for the photo opportunity, which was finally allowed just as the light was fading.
