The eastern parapet of the bridge that once carried Dalhouse Road over the NB freight line from Hardengreen Junction to Smeaton (closed 1934). Photographed in September 2014 looking south, with the route back to Hardengreen Junction (approximately 200 yards off to the right) now infilled and reclaimed. The north side of the bridge is still accessible below from the old trackbed, although the density of the vegetation prevented a suitable photograph at this time. Fortunately an opportunity arose some four and a half years later - (see image 68132).
