Kings Cross
The west side of King's Cross, with the entrance to the suburban platforms, seen from the Great Northern Hotel in 1994. From this viewpoint today you would see little except the roof of the 21st century station extension. The hotel has become 5-star since my stay, though it closed down in between and was derelict for 12 years.
