Millerhill has been a location of long slow decline but in May 1995 there was still something to see. The abandoned ECML electrification depot ahead marks the course of the Waverley route, swinging to the right was the remains of the Bilston Glen branch, acting as headshunt to the Monktonhall colliery line right.
