Having reversed at Newsham, UK Railtours' excursion is now returning north to North Blyth, seen here on Bedlington level crossing and about to again pass through the disused station, closed on 2nd November 1964, in pouring rain on 7th April 2018. Bedlington is due for reopening now that funding for the resumption of passenger services on the line to Ashington was at long last granted in January 2021.
