Calstock Viaduct

The impressive view of the Tamar with Calstock on the left, looking north from 150124 on a service from Gunnislake to Plymouth crossing from Cornwall into Devon, on 11th March 2017. The viaduct was constructed between 1904 and 1907, is 800 ft. long and 120 ft. high and consists of 12 arches with a 60 ft. span. It is the largest viaduct in Britain constructed entirely of concrete blocks.
