Ballater

The second Edition 25 map 1900 shows the changes since 1866 See image 79229. One of the major differences was due to the extension of the line to Bridge of Gairn which meant, amongst other changes, that the goods shed moved to the north of the running line next to the weighing machine (W.M.) and the main platform was extended right up to the bridge under the main road to Braemar See image 70036. The Engine Shed moved to a site adjacent to where the words Albert Memorial Hall occur.
