Fulham Broadway
LUL C stock on a District Line service from Wimbledon to Edgware Road just departed from Fulham Broadway on 18th January 2014. This station was opened with the extension of the District Line from West Brompton to Putney Bridge as Walham Green on 1st March 1880 and renamed Fulham Broadway 72 years to the day later in 1952. The C stock trains were finally withdrawn from service six months after this photo was taken.
