Ribbleton [2nd]
It is over ninety years since passengers last used Ribbleton, on the Longridge branch from Preston, but the station survived as a dwelling. The grass in the foreground covers the trackbed, and the cyclepath from Deepdale diverts around the back of the building before joining the old line again on the opposite side of the road. This view in May 2021 is from Gammull Lane, where the bridge over the line has been removed. Around this time the Preston Trampower organisation announced that they had bought this historic building to use as their headquarters.
