The array of buildings constituting the former Stranraer Shed as seen in 1989 from the south during an escorted visit to the former Stranraer Town station. Nearest is the running shed - a two road building of the joint line and one road building of the Girvan line. Beyond is the two road joint erecting shed. Beyond this - out of sight, also ruined but still standing - was the two road Caledonian shed. The brick structure on the right is the base of a water tank. In the foreground are the goods yard lines with the former passenger lines behind the camera.
