Carstairs
GNSR 4-4-0 No.49 'Gordon Highlander' pauses at Carstairs on 16th October 1965, during its final outing before retirement to museum life. The Branch Line Society railtour had called at Bellshill, Law Junction, Ponfeigh and Lanark and continued to the Edinburgh area, visiting Roslin and Loanhead. The return journey to Glasgow was via Bathgate.
