Gibshill Quarry
Looking north west over a hazy Greenock on Saturday 2 August 1958 as Fairburn 2-6-4 tank no 42242 passes Lady Octavia Park on the approach to Gibshill Quarry. The train is the 5.17pm ex-Princes Pier bound for St Enoch. The route was on a constant climb out of Princes Pier with a summit close to Upper Port Glasgow. This section was at 1 in 70.
