Silvertown
Class 345 unit on a Crossrail test run to Abbey Wood emerging from the revamped Connaught Tunnel as it speeds along a section of the re-laid North Woolwich line, closed in 2006, on 13th July 2021. The line should have opened to passengers in December 2018. The viaduct in the background carries the DLR's Woolwich Arsenal branch. No provision has been made here for a Crossrail Silvertown station, it would not really be necessary with the DLR's London City Airport station nearby that already offers a service for this locality to Woolwich Arsenal and eventually the DLR will have an interchange with Crossrail at Custom House.
