Travelling on board the Scottish Locomotive Preservation Fund's 'Covenanter' special of 20th October 1962, I took several photos that I hoped would be a reminder of a wonderful railtour, but unfortunately nearly all were total failures. This was the only one that was almost passable, and luckily it features the superb signal gantry at Greenock Princes Pier. McIntosh 0-6-0 57581 shunts the stock back into the station after running
round the train.
