Fair Friday used to be the time for the annual exodus from Glasgow, when many extra trains were run and unusual locos or workings appeared. Unlike this year, the weather was usually grim, and this is the case with Corkerhill’s 45361 heading for Paignton from St Enoch on 12 July 1963.
