Loanhead
The trackbed of the former Edinburgh, Loanhead and Roslin Railway running north through Loanhead on 14 March 2016. The reinforced plate girder bridge carries Church Street over the old route, approximately half a mile short of Loanhead station. The last train passed this way in 1991 with the final consignment of stockpiled coal from the closed Bilston Glen Colliery.
