Knockane
An impressive surviving bridge at Knockane given this was just a single track line, west of Drimoleague and east of Aughaville Halt on the Bantry line. View looks north with Drimoleague to the right and Aughaville Halt and Bantry to the left. Increasingly these substantial remains look more like the relics of an ancient empire than a railway, albeit one which closed over 60 years ago.
