Custom House [DLR]
DLR unit 55 with a service from Tower Gateway to Beckton arriving at Custom House on 15th July 2021. On the right are the as yet unopened Crossrail tracks and station that should have been carrying trains since December 2018. Here, the tracks descend to a brand new tunnel built especially for Crossrail which joins the existing TfL Rail route west of Stratford. However, the Connaught Tunnel to the west of Custom House at Prince Regent, was used by trains to and from North Woolwich until these ceased in 2006 but has been rejuvenated for the Crossrail line.
