Harthope Viaduct
Maintaining a steady 15-20mph as it climbs Beattock with a heavy ballast train, 66050 is on the embankment just beyond Harthope Viaduct on 15th September 2021. The preceding TPE 397 was timed to take six minutes from Beattock station to the summit. This Carlisle to Millerhill engineers train, from a standing start in the loop, was allowed twenty five.
