Bay Horse
With the sudden extreme rise in electricity prices in October 2021 some rail freight companies were quick to switch train haulage from electric to diesel. This Daventry to Mossend service, seen in the cutting at Forton, would usually use a single Class 88 but on 16th October employed 68018 'Vigilant' and 68006 'Daring', the latter still carrying the remnants of its former Saltire livery.
