Tralee Basin

Basin station, Tralee, looking towards the town in 1988. It was so named because of the nearby Tralee Ship Canal. The railway passed to the left of the building, now a private dwelling. The station closed with the withdrawal of passenger services on 17 April 1939 but goods traffic continued to pass through until June 1953.
