Rothesay Dock
SSEB Yoker Power Station Barclay No. 2047 0-4-0ST at Rothesay Dock, Clydebank in the 1970s. The locomotive was built 1937 and is now to be found on the Plym Valley Railway. See image 32878 for the subsequent story of this locomotive. The location is the weighbridge by the western of the two footbridges over the marshalling yard. Behind the camera is the northern quayside of the dock. In the background is the girder bridge which carried the Lanarkshire and Dumbartonshire over a long removed railway (it served a shipyard) obliterated when Rothesay dock was built.
