Oxheys
Tree and vegetation clearance of the WCML cutting north of Oxheys by Network Rail has opened up some vantage points around the Sharoe Brook Bridge, although these may not be around for long looking at the new growth. TPE 802204 crosses the brook with a TPE training run from Preston to Carlisle on 15th November 2021. This stretch of line had four tracks up to around the time of electrification.
