Inchgreen Graving Dock

Inchgreen Dry Dock, fairly recently in the news for reinstatement after a number of years out of use, is seen in the heyday of 1965, about to receive what was probably its most distinguished visitor, the Cunard liner 'Queen Elizabeth'. Another Cunarder, the 'QEII', was there a few years afterwards. Superb ship that the 'QEII' was, one would have to say that she did not quite surpass the earlier Queen in magnificence.
