Alton Towers
The platforms at Alton (Staffordshire) were extended to 220 yards in 1884; so theme parks are nothing new. I have just noticed that Alton Towers has a monorail, perhaps I should get a ride? View looks towards Denstone. I have a feeling I have covered this trackbed twice, but can't prove it - I may have to surrender my anorak.
