Brondesbury

378220, with a London Overground service to Stratford, departing from Brondesbury on 16th February 2016. This station was shoddily rebuilt at platform level in the 1960s, when its original wooden Victorian buildings were demolished and replaced by the usual ghastly bus stop style waiting shelters that are still there today, when the Broad Street to Richmond line, as it then was, was saved from the Beeching cuts. Its mind-blowing that Beeching ever had the audacity to propose closure of a line through the heavily built-up London suburbs in the first place.
