Larkhall

The completed work. Bridge 15 Larkhall, which carries the B7078 (old A74), having strengthening and masonry repairs carried out by South Lanarkshire Council Roads department staff in 1996. The picture shows the stitching bars in place and the cracks sealed using Fosroc's Renderoc. The stitching rods are held in place using a two part epoxy sausage which is placed in the pilot hole and the bar spun into the hole and allowed to set then the square galvanized plates and nuts added. This was an unusual job that I was in charge of prior to the line being reopened.
