Hawes Pier
The ferry 'Sir William Wallace' loading at Hawes Pier, South Queensferry, as a Metro-Cammell DMU crosses the Forth Bridge high above. The photograph dates from early 1964. The ferry service across the Forth became redundant with the opening of the Forth Road Bridge in September of that year.
