Yarwell Junction
43046 with 43049 with UK Railtours' excursion from London St. Pancras at Yarwell Junction station on the Nene Valley Railway, on 28th March 2015. 43046 later became one of the two LSL Midland Pullman power cars and has widely toured the UK. After visiting the Nene Valley Railway, this excursion travelled via Peterborough, Ely and King's Lynn (reversing on each occasion) and paid a visit to the short Middleton Towers freight branch (see my photo image no. 71620), the sole surviving section of the line to Dereham via Swaffham that closed in 1968, despite the fact it was never listed in the Beeching Report.
