Metrolink 3024 rolls into Sale heading for Manchester on 14th April 2014. The very long platforms reflect earlier main line railway use. Nowadays there is just a short section, long enough for four tramcar coaches, available for use. The Bridgwater Canal lies immediately behind the brick wall seen here.
