Euston

82008 at Euston in 1984 while this last survivor was employed on empty stock work. The Beyer Peacock built AL2s had a separate chassis rather than integral bodywork. They also had Commonwealth bogies leading to a very good ride that was poplar with footplate crews. 82008, now preserved, looks very different today as it is in Inter City livery.
