Slateford Junction
During the 1980s, my evening return commute from Edinburgh to Fife often coincided with the departure of the single coach postal train to Carstairs, joining a WCML service to London. It was invariably hauled by a Type 2, such as this Class 26 nearing Slateford Junction in 1982.
