Myrdal
Looking back from an Oslo to Bergen express leaving Myrdal, almost 900m above sea level, on 5th May 2022. In the station is the connecting train for Flam, ten coaches with a powerful modern electric loco at each end. The difference in gradient between the snow shelter of the main line and that of the Flam branch is very noticeable.
