Liverpool Street [EL]
At last! Crossrail is here, as shown in this sign at Liverpool Street on 18th May 2022. Well not quite, despite being officially opened by HM The Queen the previous day (see news item), passengers will have to wait another six days before they are able to ride from Paddington to Abbey Wood (and even then Bond Street station will not be ready) and another year before through trains from Shenfield to Reading commence.
