Bourton

47802 was part of the Great Britain XIV set up and on 30th April was running close behind 46233 'Duchess of Sutherland'. The 4-6-2 was due to pass through Swindon at 1820 hours and Bourton at 1830. Alas for me it was running 45 minutes early. A stop in Swindon was cancelled, the Duchess sailed through at speed and I missed it altogether. However the consolation prize was 47802 heading east on the GWML at Bourton. I never thought I would say that about a 47.
