Laindon
Class 357 units on a C2C Fenchurch Street service at Laindon, Essex, seen from a departing service to Shoeburyness, on Bank Holiday Monday, 2nd May 2022. The father of the late Carry On actress Joan Sims (1930-2001) was the stationmaster here in the 1930s and Joan lived with him and her mother in the station house when she was a child.
