Wylam

Often referred to as '...one of the oldest railway stations in the world still in constant use', Wylam was opened in March 1835 by the Newcastle and Carlisle Railway. The photograph was taken on a dull and drizzly Sunday morning in 2006 looking east over the level crossing towards Blaydon.
