Standing alongside the North Tyne in rural Northumberland is the small village of Falstone. The former station on the Border Counties Railway was located some 23 miles north of Hexham and 15 miles from Riccarton Junction. Now owned by the Forestry Commission, the old station is seen here in November 2007 after being extended and converted to form part office and part residential accommodation. View is north west along the trackbed looking towards Kielder.
