In normal circumstances the stone train from Harrisons Quarry at Shap to Tuebrook in Liverpool would pass Garstang around 5.30am. During the national rail strike days however it headed south during the afternoon. Celebrity GBRf 66794, in Railfreight Sector livery, matches the grey wagons nicely as it passes Woodacre on on 23rd June. From Tuebrook the stone is tripped in two workings to Edge Lane terminal on the Haydock branch stub near Golborne.
