Now here is a highly traditional cast iron boundary marker, for the Blisworth Tramroad (~1801) on the Grand Junction Canal. This tramway route was in operation before the Blisworth Tunnel was completed in 1805. This is located on the east side of the trackbed close to Blisworth village. The canal was known as the Grand Union (New) from 1929.
