Stavanger

An NSB Class 72 4-car EMU approaches Stavanger, through the cutting at the station approach, in May 2022. These trains were first introduced in 2002, styled by Pininfarina. The line to Stavanger was narrow gauge until the 1940s German occupation when it was converted to standard width. A disused goods branch runs from Stavanger station through a tunnel to the harbour.
