Barking Riverside
Forget the Northern Line's Battersea Power Station branch and the delayed Elizabeth Line, this is London's newest station, Barking Riverside, terminus of the extended London Overground GOBLIN line from Barking that opened ahead of schedule on Monday, 18th July 2022. It then saw almost its entire service of trains that day wiped out due to the excessive 40.6C heatwave, which prevented me from getting there on its First Day. This view is at lunchtime on Friday, 22nd July 2022 with 710256 on left waiting to depart with the 12.03 service to Gospel Oak and 710273 on right waiting with the following Gospel Oak service at 12.18. The latter train I travelled on back to my local station at Crouch Hill.
